Quieter Tire Choice?
I am considering a new set of tires for my 1999 C4 and have narrowed it down to either Hankook Ventus or Michelin Pilots.
Believe it or not, I don't care about the handling or wear characteristics, just want the quietest tires. Not sure I fully believe the test results on the TireRack website, as I have other cars with these tires and the Hankooks seem to have much less road noise to me. Thanks for any thoughts. |

Do a search here, on Rennlist and Renntech and I think that you will find that the general consensus is Michelin Super Sports. It's too bad that these are back ordered in some popular sizes.
Cheers, Johan

Agree with Johan,
I daily my Turbo on a set of Michelin Sports, while they set me back a cool $1,600+ they have impressed me again... ![]() I also have a set on my 951S but also use the BS RE-11, but only go there if you have the need otherwise you'll be replacing them quickly...
