Introducing my new MK1

Hi a quick Hello to all in the watercooled forum,

I am Another very Proud Owner of one of the most underrated cars in the world today,
A 296HP 996 MK1 1998 Carrera 3.4 litre

she has no Options
she has no passenger door lock,
No glovebox,
No satnav
And the rear Windows dont wind down , maybe they forgot the window motor at the factory?) or is this normal? im sure ill learn about her over the coming years,

But she does have an extensive quality carbon Interior and a Factory aerokit with the taco shell Spoiler, Coler matched Leather Seats, Alacantra Leather where there is no carbon..She has Full Service history, LMS retrofit and Body by Porsche LOGIC
Yesterday i replaced the Engine Mounts with new ones as Gears were a bit sticky, now she shifts perfectly.
I took her to the weighbridge up the highway and with me sitting in it and half a tank of petrol she weighed 1420kg so pounds thats 3130 pounds including my weight of 88kg
only thing i would change is the exhaust note, so ill be doing the Fister Mod on her probably this week,
I bought the car for basically the cost of the Carbon-fibre alone.
I wasnt really looking for another one as ive been using all my resources on an ongoing 930 restoration but when i saw this i begged borrowed and stole so i could buy it, My New Daily Driver

And she is Faaaaast

Hi its a Pastel Yellow ,
I dont get however in the manual it lists no options other than the Paint color and interior trim, Perhaps the original PO had just enough to buy the base model? I dont think its a bad good thing because she starts off a little lighter than most.

Options are shown under the front hood on a sticker under the badge. Rear windows don't roll down on the coupe, only the convertible. Early ones did not come with a glove box. Nice looking car
