Air/Heating Control Unit does not turn on

I've got a 2008 997 Carrera S and my wife left my passenger window open during a heavy storm.

Other than serious damage to the passenger seat leather seats, the ac and heating control unit on the dashboard does not turn on. All of the other electronics on the dashboard are working properly, but none of the controls in the AC or Heating section work.

Any ideas for how to troubleshoot this?
