993 C2S vs 996 GT3 future value
New to the forum. Own a few 911s (70 and 73 911 and 997 GTS). Curious to anyone that has a good opinion on this. I want to get either a 993 C2S/C4S or a 996 GT3. I realize I am taking apples and oranges. That being said the 993 market skyrocketed and and 996 GT3s seem to be headed up too. I hope to own both one day but obviously would love to buy low and not at the peak. I'm not a trailer queen guy and drive all my stuff. Any opinions? I realized this is crystal ball stuff but want to buy at the right time.

I think that the 993 will continue to go up in value, so I would start with it before the price jumps again. The 'last of the air cooled' imprint will continue to be a major point to collectors. Just my 2 cents...

Appreciate the two cents.... thanks much. The "last of the aircooled" does make sense to me. I usually only put 1000-1500 miles on the car. Thanks much for the note.

I think the GT3 will increase faster than the 993 - my 2 cents

Prices on both may come down a little but not much (unless there's some big economic downturn). I think they'll remain steady and/or continue to slowly move up in value.

Gt3 prices have not come down at all with only few ever being listed for sale and majority start in the 69k+ range.
993 will continue to go up as it has... |
