Dayton/Cincinnati IMS Bearing Recommendations?
Greetings all! Happy New Year! I'm new to this Forum, so be gentle! I'm looking for a reliable Porsche 911 Specialist in either the Dayton or Cincinnati area to look at my '02 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet w/ 37K mi. for an IMS Bearing/Clutch replacement. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello! Welcome to the Pelican community. Try posting your postal code into this site here: Independent Porsche Repair | Repair Shops Specializing in Porsche | PCarShops.com. Some shops should pop up in your area and you can do a Google search or ask on here about the shops that come up. Good luck!

I live in Northern Cincinnati and have a recently purchased 996 TT. I looked for an Independent shop, and found what seemed to be a good one for a clutch replacement. Problem was, as I spoke to them more, it became clear that despite the internet recs, this shop really had little experience with Porsche's. Turns out that Eric Thesing, who is one of the master mechanics of Porsche of Kings Automall, is one of the best P-car mechanics in the area. Yes, its a dealership, but he is amazing and was recommended by someone on the West Coast as having quite the reputation. They are very close to the 71/275 intersection so not too far from you.
(513) 851-5900 Good luck. |
