996 beeping

Im new to the 996 world, im used to my mid 70's cars. Im having a beep coming from the area of the ignition while the car is running. very steady beep and cant seem to find anything about it. The car does have a built in radar detector

I was scratching my head until I read that it had a radar detector. That has to be it, unless there is also an alarm that's malfunctioning. I did a quick google search for 996 radar detector and it seems that the radar detectors do this.
