991 sunroof wind noise when closed

i get whistling and the sound of partial open sunroof randomly try re closing to get better seal shop says cross wind can create this situation....any thoughts

I had this issue on a car of mine a while back, the rubber seals around the sunroof were rather dry and created tiny gaps that made the whistle.
