1976 Porsche 911 Targa – RoW market European car

An solid, attractive Grand Prix white targa (one older repaint of the original shade) with black interior.

Paint is a driver quality, interior is solid, dash pad is perfect! Recovered front seats. Good glass, newer carpet. All the gauges work, including the clock. Speedometer is a used ‘MPH’ replacement unit so the actual mileage is unknown; reads 169k miles.

The 2.7 CIS engine is a 1974 model replacement; looks to have been serviced with turbo valve covers, 11-blade fan and Carrera hydraulic chain tensioners. Runs great, no oil smoke and very minor leaks. The original RoW (never had thermal reactors) exhaust is still fitted. The 5-speed 915 gearbox is original to the car; serial 716 4919.

The body is rust free and straight. No known collision damage, all panels fit as from factory. The whale tail engine lid is an original 75-77 Porsche 930 turbo part (fiberglass shell over steel inner shell with ducting for A/C and rear wiper provision). Has matching OEM front spoiler, front fogs and Bosch H4 headlamps.
The car received within the last 500-miles new Dunlop tires, Koni green rear shocks, a brake service, plus a general tune-up. It runs great, shifter engages all the gears smoothly without issue, clutch engages crisply and the brakes do their job as intended. Wheels are Carrera spec 16” Fuchs; 6” front and 7” rear.
No manuals or service history are included. The original jack, spare and tool roll are still with the car.
