FS: 1999 Carrera 996

1999 Porsche Carrera 996 (911).
3.4L, 296hp, water-cooled with 6 speed manual.
Black with Black leather interior, power seats. No rips or tears, but normal wear for this age and miles.
18” Porsche Factory chrome 5 spoke wheels (I have seen these wheels as painted aluminum wheels but not as chrome). Have Sumatoma’s all around with plenty of tread. This car drives and handles very well.
115K miles, car has been well cared for. Body and interior in good condition.
A/C works well.
Sun Roof works well, both the rear edge lift opening and full open actions.
Power windows.
Stock radio with single CD and stock amplifier. Has removable front panel.
Recent oil and filter change, new battery and belt.
I will include a spare lower control arm; it fits any corner (front or rear). Set of H&R springs (they lower the car approximately an 1½"). A lower temperature thermostat. And a car cover.
I do not know if the IMS bearing has ever been changed. It has never given me any indication of having an issue in the time I've owned the car (5 years). Driving these cars is the preventative measure for the seal on this bearing. Letting these cars sit in a garage is the worst thing for them. As you can tell from the mileage this car has been driven, but it has not been abused. So, you can honestly tell your wife (or husband) "I have to drive the Porsche, it helps the engine!"
