2005 Guards Red 997 Coupe For Sale
Up for sale is my 997 is a super clean, well sorted example of the 997. Guards Red over black, 77,500 miles. Everything works as it should. The interior is probably a 7.5-8 out of 10, while the exterior is the same.
I bought the car two years ago and shipped it out to Monterey for Rennsport Reunion. Afterwards, a buddy and I drove our cars back to the east coast. The car ran flawlessly, 3,500 miles, averaged over 24MPG. Prior to my ownership the following upgrades were added to the car: • Fabspeed cold air intake. • H&R lowering springs. • Lobster claw wheels. • Porsche alcantara steering wheel and shift knob. • Porsche pedals. ALL of the original parts that were removed to install these upgrades were kept and go with the car. During my ownership I have done the following: • New windshield, OEM glass. • New Battery. • New coil packs. • PTX transmission fluid. • Fuel system professionally cleaned. Based on this post (see reply #14) and engine number, the car has the later “big bearing” IMS. I have owned Porsches since 1971 and this is one of the best I have owned.
