1967 Porsche 912 36,000
I have owned this car for over 9 years. The first 5 years we spent restoring it. Body is completely rust free. Engine has been completely rebuilt from crank to carbs. Transmission is a 4 speed. With the added power and wider gear range make for a great combination. All suspension is new from bushing to shocks and struts. Brakes have all new brake lines metal and rubber. Calipers rebuilt with new pad and rotors and master cylinder. Electrical has been updated to standard blade fuses with more circuits for added protection. Windows and bright work are in good condition. Interior is all original and in good shape for the age. Head liner is new with a few minor flaws. All in all this is a great car, drives and looks great. I have 2 build posted on pelican part forum one for the body work and one for the engine build. Rods balanced
JE 96mm pistons 1720cc
Cylinders 356 steel bored for 96mm pistons
New pushrods and pushrod tubes.
Heads reconditioned new guides, and valves, double springs
Lighted flywheel balanced with pressure plate. New clutch disc.
Full flow Oil bypass with filter.
Carburetors reconditioned by 356 Carburetor Rescue.
K & N air filters
Aluminum oil cooler
Original 022 distributor reconditioned with pertronix electronic ignition
Electric Fuel pump with safety shut off
Burch Exhaust with bung for O2 sensor with stock heater boxes.

Transmission

4 speed transmission with new throw out bearing, Work perfect.

Body

New floor pan
New front latch panel
New front suspension pan with mount supports
New gas tank support
New inner and outer rocker panels
New jack support
Body taken down to metal repaired and Painted Porsche Metallic Blue (original color Irish green)
New undercoating

Front Suspension

Front a arms striped and repainted
Front a arm torsion bars inspected and reinstalled.
New a arm end bushings
New tie rods
New ball joints
New Bilstiens HDs front struts
New sway bar bushings
New steering boots.


Rear Suspension

New inner and outer swing plate bushings.
Rear torsion bar removed inspected and reinstalled
Rear torsion tubes inspected and treated with rust preventing coating.
New KYB progressive shocks.
New CV boots

Brakes

New Hard and Rubber lines front and rear.
Front and rear calipers rebuilt
Master cylinder rebuilt
New Brake pads and rotors.
New brake reservoir and hose.

Wheels/Tires

6 X 15 fuchs
Front tire Toyo R1R 205/50-15
Rear tires Toyo Proxy. 195/55/15
(Car handles like a go-cart)

Interior

Door panels, side panels, rear shelf panels are all original in good shape.
Dash has one small flaw but in great shape.
Dash speaker has 2 pioneer 2.5.
Stereo is a light weight Dual with usb and sd inputs.
(I have original seats that need upholstery)
Front seats are flo fit with seat adapters. That look great
Rear seats in good condition.
Floor and body is covered with sound and heat insulation.
Carpet is light weight charcoal gray with original floor mats.
All heater and vents work properly.
Wood grant steering wheel (have original steering wheel missing the leather horn cover)
Original gauges
Clock not working
RPM gauge, Fuel gauge, temp gauge, works properly.
All gauge lights works properly.
Turn signal switch need adjusted. But works
Heater lever is not connected to heater box flaps. (Heater flaps must be close manually.)

Electrical
Original fuse block is replaced with a blade type 16 fuse block. (I have original 12 fuse block if want to convert back)
All head lights, high beams, turn signals, tail lights, reverse lights, interior lights, front trunk light refurbished or replaced.
All gauges, gauge lights, flashers, radio work properly.

Here are a few more pictures.
The seats were recovered 6 months ago.
There are gauges for oil temp, oil pressure and O2 sensor mounted under the dash.
An alarm is installed that monitors doors. hoods, and motion.

Got a chance today to get the car and jacks and cleanup the underside and take some pictures. I know there is overspray in the fender wells from paint I just never get to redoing them. BUT please notice no rust and all bushings are like new.

adjusted carbs and timing
replace brake fluid and adjust brakes. pads at 90%
