1979 911sc
1979 911SC Sunroof Coupe - Red / Black
119,600 miles Charleston, SC $27k Time to sell my 1979 911SC. I’ve owned this car for 4 years - my father owned it for 6 years prior. This car started it’s life with a brown exterior and tan interior. At some point it was painted red by the previous owner (not sure of exactly color code) and my father updated the interior to full black. The car runs and drives as a 911 should. It gets an insane amount of attention. Details SSIs with Dansk sport muffler New clutch and flywheel seal Backdated heat Valvoline VR-1 20/50 Racing Oil H4s (have original sugar scoops) Professionally lowered, aligned, and corner balanced 6x16 Fuchs up front and 8x16 Fuchs in back Oil always changed at 3k and valves adjusted every 12k Wevo Precision Shift Joint Coupler Pop-off Valve New antennae Silicone valve cover gaskets New driver’s seat belt Engine removed, cleaned, and ‘triangle of death’ leaks were addressed Leaks a few drops. After addressing the triangle of death leaks on top of the engine and the rear main seal, I suspect that the leak is from the engine oil cooler. Only non-ethanol gas Always garaged Interior is 8/10 Issues No A/C (subjective ‘bad’). Car was repainted by previous owner. It is in decent condition with some flaws. Body has a couple of dings here and there - two at corners of front hood Dash is in OK shape. Seems that a caliper is going but haven't put it in the air to determine which one.
