84 black/beige Carrera Targa
Gorgeous freshly restored Carrera.
Glass out repainted in original black which now looks fantastic and shines beautifully. All new seals, rubber and door sills. A very attractive solid car that is near perfect. In all honestly, their are no records but the mechanicals are fantastic. See leakdown and compression below. Pics don't lie. While the chassis has 162k miles, we believe the 3.2 liter engine was rebuilt as it's super strong, no leaks and no issues. The full restoration includes: Glass out repainted - no rust All new brakes and rotors Aftermarket finned oil cooler 915 tranny smooth shifting. Opened and refreshed. All syncros good. New clutch and pressure plate. Targa sway bars in rear seats area Nice Targa top and new seals New door seals New sills covers New carpets Recovered and Updated power seats Updated headlights/bulbs 205 45 16 front on 6x16 Fuchs 245 45 16 rear on 7x16 Fuchs 3.2 engine runs great - very strong. No leaks. No smoke. Compression - 165, 165, 165, 165, 168, 168 (see pics - below) Leakdown - 2%, 2%, 2%, 1%, 1%, 3% (see pics - below) Dash has a cover as it's warped. Worst part of an otherwise pristine car. If I find a new dash I'll install it (small price bump). PM or email for more details. Despite the awesome condition and great leak-down/compression...I am lowering the price to $32,000.
I would like to sell the car so come see it, drive it, buy it. Thanks |
