Сrankshaft and Camshaft waveforms 996 997 ?

Porsche Carrera S 911 997 (M97.01 - 3.8L)
The engine was under repair with dismantling.
After - have problem with work.
Сrankshaft and Сamshaft waveforms after repairing.

This is 966 model normal Сrankshaft and Сamshaft waveforms (here same)

Does M96 and M97 engines must have the same Camshaft and Сrankshaft waveforms?
If this correct - I think that camshafts not correctly installed !

Instead of trying to look at what you are looking at. Simply check camshaft deviation in the values section of any decent scan tool...

Preferably a Porsche specific tool like the PIWIS system or Durametric.

Both the Durametric and PIWIS system can measure cam deviation values; factory spec is +/- 6 degrees.

I do not have PIWIS now.... I have Camshaft and Сrankshaft waveforms...
Do I currectly understand, what in my case I see deviation values = 15 degrees ?
Crankshaft has 60 tooths. One tooth - 6 degrees. I have about 2.5 tooths deviation .
Is this correct ?

Here is normal deviation one tooth of Сrankshaft (I think)... 6 degrees

I have no idea, that is not the way the factory does it, and I have no idea what your "wave forms" are tell you. I do know that when one of these engines is one tooth off on cam timing, it is more like 12 degrees or so.............

Well, yes, it has to be true! One tooth of cam = two tooths of crank = 12 degrees or so !
In my case two and half tooths of crank = 15 degrees

Autologic, Durametric, Launch, various AUTEL, PIWIS will all give you the data you need. Also if out more than 10 degress (IIRC) a code will trip showing a deviation.
