Obviously the right rad is there as well as inlet and return hoses. You’ll have to pull the inner fender well to explore and maybe the bumper cover.

Yes, but it is also 17 years old. Rubber deteriorates whether it is used or not.

oops. im very inept at using modern day technology. im attempting to remove the front bumper on my 2001 996 turbo. ive removed all screws and attachments that ive followed online. my issue now is attempting to loosen the inner plastic wheel well cover? ive removed the fastners, but cant get the inner cover loosened. seems to be snugly embedded in the fender as pictured. need help with any suggestions? ive thought about trying some lubricant or possibly a hair dryer to heat the rubber/ molded plasic??? thanks to all in advance
