Trolley Jack on 2019 XC90

The XC90 has 1 plastic/rubber jack pad just in front of each rear wheels. There's also 2 lift points it appears just behind the front wheels. My question is primary regarding the rear jack pads. If I lift using a trolley jack, the head of the jack covers most of the jack pad. How am I supposed to slip a jack stand underneath the pad? Haven't been able to find anything definitive on how this is actually carried out.

What I do is use the trolley jack on that rear jack pad area, I have a hockey puck on my jack so it doesn’t scratch. After I have it up, I just slide a jack stand in an area I believe will hold in the case my hydraulic jack fails.
