Which sensor is correct?

Hey! I recently picked up a 2002 TT ALMS and it promptly died on me. I got a P0322 code and went out and bought a Bosch crankshaft position sensor (0261210199). I started the replacement process and followed the cable, which then led to the realization that what I had bought didn't have a cable nearly long enough. They all say "Fits your car", but the cable on the one I got is about 6" long and what I need is probably about 16" long.

So how do I find the right one?

I also need to know what the size of the hex socket is in the 10mm socket that holds the sensor in place. It's stupid tight in that space and I can't even see it without a borescope. It's probably easier to get a hex key in there than a full 10mm socket and ratchet.

Many thanks!
