Alternator pully issue
 

hello, i just recently replaced the alt in my 2001 gti vr6, and now the serpentine belt squeaks horribly. Upon investigating I found that the belt had come off the alternator slightly, and is resting on the outer tines of the puly. I have tried to re-seat the bely into the pully but it continues to slip out. Does anyone one have some input that could help me fix this issue?

I figured it out, it was they wrong pully 6 groove instead of 7.
