No comment here, but a question looms my mind, a 2003 A4 3.0L mileage on it is 126,000 and the timing belt broke, knowing it is an interference motor, what are the chances of a bent valve? Should I take a chance with a timing kit, and hope for the best? Is there a way to check for bent valves?

I'd say you have a 97% chance of bent valves. It is not really possible to check for bent valves while the timing belt is broken.

The 3.0 has a timing chain does it not? You can't break that unless you run the.engine without.oil. The 1.8L has a timing belt.
