Mine have a Weidman RSR finish and I normally just use the same car wash soap I use for the car. If they are a bit grungier, I use Dawn dish soap, but don't get it on the car body as it'll remove any wax you have on the paint.
If they are extra dirty with lots of brake dust and other crap, I spray them down with P21S gel wheel cleaner. I leave it on for five minutes or so to soak, then I give them a good scrub with a bristle brush. Likely any brush that doesn't have nasty hard bristles would work. The anodized finish is pretty damn tough. Then I hose them down. As they say, repeat as necessary.
