My wife asked me if I would do the rear brakes on her E46 cabriolet. I said sure. So I ordered the parts. Jacked up the back of the car and... brake pads are fine.
I go into the house and ask her why she thought her rear brake pads needed replacing. I figured it was told to her by the recent guys who did the annual inspection. She said. “Well when I back up, my brakes squeak”, “your back brakes are for backing up right?”
There is some logic to this....
