Please Help

On my step moms 1988 3 series 325 convertible, the clock thing that shows date and temp does not come out of the metric side
i.e. celsius etc.

did anyone else have that problem

can you tell me how to fix

Hold the little botton in with a sharp object and hit the AVG MPG botton.
