Fixed clock light!

I went to the dealer and got a bulb for my clock in my OBC since it hasnt been shining since the day I bought it. I got in a very small accident trying to pry my cell phone out of my pocket one day to check the time. Thank goodness no damage to the other car and just slight scuffing on my mouldings. Anyways, the dealer must've given me the wrong bulb or a non functioning one cuz it didnt work.

To take out the obc, just grab an old credit card and wedge it in the cracks between the OBC and the console. You'll eventually be able to wedge it out. Mine had a total of 4 bulbs, 3 for the mpg, range, timer and etc section, and 1 seperate bulb for the clock. I jacked one of the bulbs from the mpg section (since the dealer gave me a non functioning one and i rarely even use the obc at all) and put it in the clock bulb. THe bulbs come out with a slight quarter degree turn counter clockwise i think. I used the credit card to turn it since i didnt have a small screwdriver with me. Now, the clock shines!

Credit goes out to this website for helping me with it. I'm sure he did a better job explaining how to do this.

So for those who have this problem, its a simple fix! The bulb costs $3.50 at my stealer. Too bad it didnt work so i returned it. I didnt bother to ask for another one.
