Transmission Swap
I have a 1993 325i with a automatic transmission. I recently cracked the cylinder head and I found a rebuilt engine for a good price but it has a five speed attached to it. This made me interested into converting my car into a five speed. I need some advice though. How much should I expect to pay just to have the engine installed. Also how much would it require to convert it to a 5 speed. Thanks a lot.

I dont understand what you are trying to do. Your car is already a manual? And you want to put a manual in?

Tranny Conversion
For a 1992 325i the cost of auto to manual isn't worth it unless you can do most of the work yourself. You need clutch/brake pedals, clutch slave cylinder and system, manual ecu, manual wire harness, and a ton of patience. If you have it done it could cost as much as your car is worth.
