1998 M3 replacing blower resistor - 2 tips

1 - When I puled it out, I happened to put my hand inside the cavity it occupies. Found a full size mouse nest in there. No wonder it burned out. You get yours out, take a look.

The upper screw (They are star heads BTW) was hard to get out and harder to get in. I cut 2" of gas line with the perfect diameter to force the head of the screw inside - and used that to find the hole and then take a good number of turns on the screw so that it was settled in. Then I could put my screwdriver on it and finish the work
