Window Switch Replacement
1989 BMW 325I 4 door
One window switch and two sockets that the window switches plug into became corroded with water and quit working. I replaced the bad switch, removed the two sockets, and put slip on terminals on the 5 wire ends in place of the sockets. I have tried 3 times to place the wires on the switches in the same sequence as they appear on the sockets but each time I energize it the 30 amp fuse blows. What am I missing ? Thank you |
