My 1990 325iS floor vent lever seems to be stuck. I understand that for max deffoging, this lever, as well as the middle lever have to be in the far left position, while the top one has to be in the far right... In the humid environment I live in, this is as near to a driving safety problem as it gets...
Anyhow, I feel some binding or something that prevents the bottom lever from moving freely full tvl. I would like to look behind the dashboard to see if any wires or whatever are binding... Any ideas or suggestions on how to do this? Or should I try something else? I'm new at this car so dont be afraid of suggesting the apparently obvious... Thanks! Serge |

It is possible that you may need to open up the dasdh and lubricate the mechanism for the vents. My levers were stuck and putting a little di-electric grease got everything working smoothly.
