Thinking of Buying an 89 M3
What would be a good price for an 89 M3 with 185000 in very good clean condition. And what problems should i Look out for. Any suggestions would be appreciated in advance.

make sure to get a prepurchase inspection. on an E30 M3 you MUST get the compression checked (no more than 10% variation across the 4 cylinders) and a leakdown test.
condition is subject...your "very good clean condition" may be somnebody else's crap pile. I would join the E30 M3 SIG for more and help on purchases. Find a good shop that knows E30 M3s or get a knowledgable E30 M3 owner to look at it if not. I know a guy in SD that has an E30 M3. |

Another potential problem spot on E30 M3's is the suspension. Check all bushings for wear, as well as the front control arms for cracks.
