ECU Possible Swap
I have an 84 325e and i'm having trouble finding an upgrade chip for the ECU, is it possible to Swap out my curent unit for one from another , say an 85 E30 they seam to be more options for chips in the 85 and up years or could this cause problems with other things in the motor.

Well, it depends. What exactly are you trying to do? What ECU from what car?

I'd like to get a little more power out of it. I'm consideing installing a free flow exhaust and cold air intake. i'm currently working on upgraging the suspenion system.
