Question brake light circuit

1997 M3 with on board computer....periodic flashing "brake light circuit or brake circuit light"??? any suggestions?

also looking for an owners manual..

have you checked your brake lights? Have you replaced them? I need more info here...

yup. it's your brake light switch... very common failure item. pick it up at the dealer. i think it's about $25 max...

the switch is located under the dash above the brake pedal. here's a link for ya for the fix:

This couls also be a loose brake light bulb. I've seen people just wiglle the bulbs and suddenly everything works again.

9 out of 10 times it's the brake light circuit switch. it's under your pedal - well actually around the pedal arm
