brake light circuit
1997 M3 with on board computer....periodic flashing "brake light circuit or brake circuit light"??? any suggestions?
also looking for an owners manual.. |

have you checked your brake lights? Have you replaced them? I need more info here...

yup. it's your brake light switch... very common failure item. pick it up at the dealer. i think it's about $25 max...
the switch is located under the dash above the brake pedal. here's a link for ya for the fix: http://www.bimmerzone.com/brakelight.htm change it and all will be better. |

This couls also be a loose brake light bulb. I've seen people just wiglle the bulbs and suddenly everything works again.

9 out of 10 times it's the brake light circuit switch. it's under your pedal - well actually around the pedal arm
