Brian-
You mean 2.8L "STRAIGHT" 6 don't you???

I think you're automatically typing V when thinking about a 6.
BMW does not make a V6. Common error I see all the time, especially in ads in the newspaper.

Isn't it funny, Brian how there are so many "Hawks" just looking for anyone to make a mistake so that they can correct them. We all know that a bmw has an inline 6. Geez, the guy just wants to sell his Bimmer and he would prefer it go to another person that would appreciate it. Our bimmers are like family! You don't want someone else to abuse it. That's why he posted it here. Brian, maybe you should have just mentioned you had one for sale here and directed them to classifieds.

Don't worry- I'm not bustin' your chops I just wish I could buy more BMW's, even a V6 You shouldn't have trouble selling. Put it in all the big places: roadfly.org classifieds, yahoo classifieds, autotrader.com, etc. It'll go quicker that way.

"Brian, maybe you should have just mentioned you had one for sale here and directed them to classifieds."
Note the last sentence of my paragraph. I really wasn't disagreeing about where the post should be. I was inferring the correction issue over a simple mistake.

I would have said," Hey, anybody wanna buy a BMW?"
I have one for sale in classifieds.
