washer spray problem. Help.
Hi, My right windshield spray has been spraying very little to the point that I can see water coming out of the nozzle with no chance to be strong enough to hit the windshield.
Today I decided to take a look under the hood cover and this is what I found: (forgive me but I don't know how to call the piece I pictured... maybe spray nozzle? ) ![]() This is the piece part that after my friend went inside the car and tried to use the windshield washers, it sprayed in the direction of the following picture as it is shown. ![]() From the looks of the water sprayed It looked like it was coming out STRONG form this hole: ![]() I tried to remove the nozzle and I followed the bentley manual but the thing is stuck as I really don't understand how to move the nozzle "forward then upward" like the Bentley manual says. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys. |

what you have pictured is basically a filter. Replace it, it's cheap. The reason water is coming from the pin hole is because there is a blockage between the inlet of the filter and the nozzle on the hood. The typical cause of this is improperly mixed windshield washer fluid concentrate. The stuff dries up and clogs up the system. Replace the filter, if that doesn't work, then clean the tips of the nozzles with a very fine straight pin. It is highly possible that both of the above need to be done. Hope this helps.!
