Stalled 325e
My 1985 325e is stalled on the side of the road. After I tow it home what of items should check, and in what order. The car turns over like a champ but no ignition. I've installed new plugs and fuel filter. I've just purchased this car so I have no history on it.

What is really odd is that I towed it 3 miles home and pushed it into my driveway put the key in and it starts right up. Today I purchased a new engine relay hopefully that will work. And now that it is daylight I will check for spark. Thanks Jared

I wuld start looking everywhere for loose or frayed wires and check the ground points on the engine.

Car starts fine with new relay. So checking for spark is a moot point. Will drive today to see if I make it back home. Thanks
