Question 93 325i dash light problems

The backlight for my speedometer, gas guage, and headlight switch have quit working. Everything else seems to be fine. Are there replacement bulbs I can get or do I have to replace the instrument panel and switch?
Can anyone please tell me what parts to get and what I need to do so I can avoid mechanical fees?

I'm not sure of the procedure itself, but you will have to remove the instrument cluster. It's easy to do, but most DIY articles recommend removing the steering wheel. Many people seems to agree the wheel does not need to be removed but the removal of the instrument cluster is tight. If you are lucky enough to have a tilt wheel, it's very easy.

With the cluster out, the bulbs are easy to replace from what I read.
Two of my "idiot lights" are burned out, and I need to replace the bulbs.

Remember- if you remove the wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery to prevent accidental deployment of the air bag.

Easy to do once you get the cluster out. Removal of the steering wheel makes this MUCH easier.
