light burned out on '88 325is OBC
The light has burned out that illuminates my on-board computer on the c-stack of my 325is. The functions are still there, but it's very faint. What do I need to replace so I can see the time/range/outside temp?

You need to remove the OBC, and change out the bulb. Are yuou talking about the orange display or the buttons themselves? BMW sells a module you replace for the orange display, or you can solder new bulbs onto the old board. As for the buttons, you replace a bulb int he rear of the OBC.

I have the same problem and just priced the blub (2 on a circuit board)at the dealer. Cost $48 + tax. Found a used OBC W/ good lights on EBAY for $22. I would confirm the lights are good before bidding and again you are getting a used item so you do take somewhat of a chance.
