My car is leaking oil. The mechanic said that the cam seal needs to be replaced. Is this a repair that I can do? Or is it for an experienced mechanic?

Hmm, E36... There isn't a "cam seal" on these cars. Perhaps the timing chain housing cover seal? Either way, this is a relatively easy fix - I have some tech articles coming soon...

Still not sure what needs to be replaced? The front cam housing seal maybe?
