fuel injectors

can i use injectors off an eta engine for an is ???????

i think i have run down the problem on my is to a bad injector, i have a set of good injectors from one of my parts car but its an eta engine....

The bently manual has a diagram of which fuel injectors fit which engines. The resistance in the injectors themselves are different for each vehicle. The ETS injectors have different resistance than your is.

I do not believe that the those injectors will work in an is.

thanks, i thought injectors are relatively interchangealbe, at least that is what i understood from some of the mods people do, like using the mustang injectors and so on

It is possible to interchange some injectors, however it's a matter of getting the right fuel mixture in the cylinder, In the case of the Mustang injectors, you alos have to upgrade the AFM, and tweak the mixture screw a bit to get it to work right.
