Unhappy Problem with clutch during rain..

Hi i have a 86 325e and recently my clutch pedal been acting really strange. First of all ever since the puddle i ran into by accident my clutch puddle been getting stuck and not popping back up or it does work but not smoothly. When it is not smoothly i could still drive it but wen it starts to rain, all of a sudden like 15 min later my clutch pedal gets stiffer and stiffer until where i press the clutch pedal and it get stucks there.

Know why or how to fix it ? i really have to fix this badly b/c its really dangerous when i cant shift unless i have to use my other foot to pick it back up. Please help me out ..!? thx alot

Hmm,

There are no issues that are humidity or rain inspired.

There are three springs on the clutch pedal.

One behind the clutch master cylinder piston to push it aft to get more fluid.

One on the pedal to keep it from riding on the master cylinder.

One over center spring CAM assembly to lessen the force needed to hold the clutch pedal.

So it is not the fault of the puddle that i went on. You dink if i bleed the slave cylinder will it fix the problem or do i have to change the master and slave cylinder?

Have you tried WD-40 at the pivot point?
