Removing Hood Roundel

Hello,

Can someone tell me how to remove the hood roundel (so I can replace it with a new one) without damaging the paint? Do I need any special tools etc?

Also, when I order a new roundel, is it necessary to order the new rubber grommets, or will the old ones be fine?
