Why are there only 2 pages of posts in the E36 forum ? I am looking for info on changing PCV valve on a '97 328i and I know the board goes back more than a few months. Is there an archive ?

There are a couple of spams at the top of the 101 Projects Forum list that need to be swept off.

    Thanks

my son's 96 328is passenger window is partly way down, about 3 inches. we're expecting snow tonite,I'M WORKING FROM 'MITCHELLS' WIRING DIAGRAM FOR THE POWER WINDOWS-- i've got the door panel off and the motor has two leads on the top side.... with yellow/green and blue/green wires---at the bottom there are three wires---brown---which i assume is the system ground, plus yellow/white----i'm 'told'---by mitchell--- is the voltage supply and a yellow/grey---
i'm 'told' this is revolution signal---PLUS--- a brown, i'm 'told' is a ground?-----
OBJECTIVE--- bring the window 'ALMOST' to the top----[not fully closed]---maybe about 1/2 inch form the top.
I'VE ATTEMPTED TO POWER THE MOTOR LEADS W/O SUCCESS---JUST A BIG SPARK! USING THE YELLOW/ GREEN AND THE BLUE/GREEN 'MOTOR' CONNECTION.
    ANY SUGGESTIONS?
IF YOU'RE 'LIVE' RIGHT NOW 8:05 PM EST CALL ME AT 734-658-2282!
I'LL RETURN YOUR CALL---SO WE'LL BE ON MY 'MONEY'!

es ,that's what my mechanic told me.""meaning not firing a cylinder every once in a while"""

but,He told me the spark plugs are brand new.

This problem is 3 mths old...I did a scan check twice to my car,and nothing appeared concerning throwing a code for a bad coil.

This is only effecting a nuisance.

Concerning the drive of the car, she's tough ,active ....No problems there.

Plus,i warm my car before i drove by.
