1989 E-30 VIN Information

Can anyone direct me to online info to determine interior color from a VIN? I cannot seem to locate any reference to this on the web. Please help!

Funny! It is a 1989 325IC and the interior color is what I am trying to locate. What number would I be looking for in the VIN? I think the color is natural in leather but I want to be sure. Thanks

Whats funny?

Is it actual leather or is it vinyl? I've never seen an E30 with actual leather..

I think that if you call your local dealer, they can give you that info with your VIN..

Are you trying to order specific color interior parts?

This is a project car for my stepsons first car. We are looking for replacement seats at the junkyard. Rather than driving to each one we are trying to locate the color from tthe VIN for and accurate description and calling around.
The dealer says it is "natur" but that doesnt seem to match the color schemes on the Leather World Website. I was really looking for a verification.

natur is the correct color for these cars.. check out this link.. Might be easier for you to simply recover the seats..

I did this on my own car and was pleased with the results..http://www.creativeoptions.info/Upholstery1.htm
