Eastern VA Pelican Bimmer Meet Up

Anybody interested? Got the idea from Jared... Any takers in the Hampton Roads/Richmond/NoVA area?

Lemme know!

Cheers,

FastAggie

easter bimmer meet

I guess I just mentioned this as a remote possibility to Jared's previous post, but would really be cool. I would be interested, and would actually move the two Porsches out of the garage to make room for bimmers. Pelican Parts team did come east to Hershey a couple of years ago.

jjskibinski, i checked the maps. Midlothian is just outside of Richmond, right? I can get there in about 2 hours or less. Maybe all us beach folk could zip out and have lunch in RVa? Or, y'all could meet us out at the beach. As long as we don't drive through Emporia, I'm cool...don't want to get another speeding ticket there.

eastern Va bimmer meet

I 'm up for any option. I have some friends that would participate. Emporia isn't on any map I own, I will go well out of my way to avoid that area. I'll start spreading the word to the "faithfull" about potential bimmer meet.

Woo hoo! This is going to be fun. Any route suggestions?

BTW...for those who don't know...Emporia is outside of Richmond. Rte 58 runs through there (so does I-95 I believe). Place is notorious for speed traps. I got popped there in May of '02.

I just joined this board a short while back so I thought I'd bump this thread up and check interest levels. I'm up in Northern Virginia, but there are some fun roads around C-ville!

Here is a link to a group I belong to (have both Stuttgart and Munchen cars in the garage) for the annual Deutche Marque Concours. I know it isn't really close to Chesapeake or Richmond but it would be worth the trip.

The BMW National Capital Chapter turns out a lot of cars for the event as do the Potomac and Chesapeak Porsche Clubs. Mercedes is represented well and this year Audi is joining the fray.

There are several interesting 2002s, 6 series and E30s as well as a few trick 7-series. Best part is that it is an all german car enthusiast event.

C u there.

Thanks Jason!

And while I'm thinking about it, is anyone going to the BMWCCA/PCA autocross class in Manassas next weekend?
