Red face Trans Bolt brackets????

On my 84 318i automatic, I went to change the trans filter, like a good boy, and did'nt watch which side of the bolt bracket was in the grove of the pan, long side or short side. Can anyone out there tell me. Got to be to work by 10am and I don't want to take a bus.

Yup, short side goes on the pan, long to the tranny.
