e36 M3 Door panel

Picked up a 95 M3 about a month ago and love the car. 1 issue is the passenger side door panel insert has separated from the door panel. I've read about this happening to a few other folks so it sounds like it's not to uncommon. My question is for a reasonable solution. Dealer price for a new panel is not cheap. Has anyone fixed the panel? I tried 3m spray adhesive with no luck, although I might give it a go again with a better clamp setup.

Any thoughts or do I just need to save my pennies?

Thanks

BMW Roundel E36 m3 Door panel

I have two e36 M3's a 95 and 97 both passenger door panels are doing that. On cold mornings and in turns it acts like the door is open but it is locked. Would new panel clips solve the problem?

best bet is to look at a junkyard or browse the classifieds of ALL bmw forums to find parts from totaled vehicles. Look for around $150-200 per panel.

yeah i think bobby would be better. bmw makes crappy panels that bubble over time and thus its a gamble buying used. If you can get them for $235 new thats a steal.
