99 M3 alignment/balance

A couple of quick question for you guys:
I have a 99 M3 coupe, with 61K (put 30K on it since I bought it last July).

Rear tires wore out in the center (no, they were NOT overinflated) so I bought two new ones, took them to a local shop and had them mounted and balanced. I also asked the shop to do a 4 wheel alignment...to which the owner said he could not do it because they put counterweights at various points in the car, which leads to quick question #1: Is this true?

Well, I took the car to the dealer and they told me that it cannot be aligned due to the tie rods being seized up (ok, that part I believe) but he said that the "camber was out a bit but he could adjust it..." Isn't that impossible? This guy had no clue what he was doing obviously. Well, I looked at the computer print out and could not see where ANY of the readings were outside of spec ranges. No, they were not identical left to right but not significantly out of spec. So, quick question #2 is: What should I do about the alignment? WHy would the rear tires wear out in the centers?

Anyway, I took the car home and went back to the guy who mounted and balanced the tires to complain that the same imbalance was present from 60mph and above. He came out and looked at the cars and said he felt a flat spot on the right front. I kinda felt it but have no clue how it could have occured. Quick question #3: What cold have caused it (no, I have never locked up the brakes!) OR what could be wrong that causes it to happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ill try an answer some of ur questions.....#1 YES you have to put weights in the seats and on the trunk....similates people riding in the car & having a loaded trunk.....same as an airplane when its balanced.....#2 I dont believe U can adjust the rear camber.....and how much pressure are U running in the rear?????....Whats he mean by tie-rods seized up??? Worn???....and usually leaving the car sitting 4 long periods of time especially with under-inflated tires cause flat spots.....might just be a bad tire or a bent wheel
