What kind of bulbs for instrument cluster?

The left side of my cluster is not working--gas gauge and speedo. I've read the instructions for removing the cluster, but there doesn't seem to be any reference to the type and size of bulb needed to replace the originals in there. Could someone post this info? Thanks!

If you go thew parts store route, go ahead and replace all the bulbs in the cluster. Sometimes the new bulbs aren't exactly the same brightness as the old and your cluster still won't be lit evenly.

after a bit of help from Tom in sales, I've been assured that the right assortment of bulbs for a "full set replacement" in an '89 325i instrument cluster is as follows:

> 07-11-9-978-372, 12v 3watt bulb, quantity 3. ($.70 each)
> 62-11-1-375-774, 12v 2watt bulb, quantity 2. ($1.55 each)
> 62-11-1-368-299, 12v 1.2w bulb, quantity varies per model, probably 8 would cover it. ($.75 each) (This is the small bulb that has a plastic base that 'twists' into place on the back of the instrument panel)

NOTE:
if you enter these #s into the database, tho, you get other responses/blank data ...

despite this, i'm told to ignore the database & just enter these order #s into the comment fields ...

once they arrive, i'll post a note here as to correct or not =)

While we're on the topic, what type of bulb do I need to use to replace the bulbs on the 6-button clock?
