to chip or not to chip?

i am planning to ad a cold air intake kit and a tri flow performance exhaust to my '95 M3 - do i also need to ad a performance chip? If so do i ad the chip to the dme before or after the air intake and exhaust enhancements? thanks

From my research, a chip will really enhance the intake and exhaust mods.

Keep your eyes open on eBay.. i was able to score an AC Schnizter and a Dinan chip for less then $60 each.

I'd install the chip at the same time as the mods just for grin factor.. you may want to do it after just for comparisons sake.

Note: installing a chip will limit you to 91+ fuel.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Dinan chips.

Go for it !

They're practically giving them away on eBay.

I've tried the Dinan chip, and found that a better investment would be the Jim Conforti software....
