What to look for when purchasing...

I'm going to look at a 87 325Is tomorrow, and I'm trying to arm myself with what to look for.

I know 911's pretty well, but BMW's are new to me, so besides obvious things like tire condition, lights, a/c, heater and such, what should I look for? Are there problem rust areas on these cars?

I should have asked first, is there a link to a E-30 buyers quide out there?

TIA
