Question What tranmisssion fluid to use?

Hi,
I'm new to BMW maintenance and my E30 325iC is due to an "inspection 2".

So, would like to ping the group what kind of transmission oil is recommended for these cars? Swepco or synthetic?

And, any tips/pointers/gotchas wrt a DIY Inspection 2 service?

thanks...

I run Swepco in all my cars, never had a problem. I would even go so far to say that the car shifted smoother with the Swepco in there.
