Turn signal indicator bulb replacement

Does anyone know the procedure for replacing an instrument panel turn signal bulb on an E36? My right indicator on the dash is out. Another problem... does anyone know how to reset the radio after the battery went dead (My wife left the ignition switch on all day at work.) Now the radio says CODE; I read the manual but can't translate BMWspeak to figure out how to reset the radio.
Thanks for any help. Tim

You need to remove the instrument cluster and replace the bulb.
As for the radio you need the code, these are specific to each radio. The owners manual will walk you through it just take your time. If you don't have the code remove the radio and go to the dealer with your ID and proof of vehicle regestration and they will give you the code. This should be a free service. It is at my dealer. Good luck

Yeah, I found the procedure for the bulbs. And thanks for the radio info; I'll check the dealer, but also I'm going to buy another radio - one that can recieve AM stations(The BMW manual has pages of information(excuses) about why AM is difficult to recieve. )??? The Earth is too big, clouds get in the way, etc., etc. Tim
